Technology and Kids

I have been busy working to set up a cyber-safety presentation with one of our edtech teachers.  We are presenting it to our community parents on Monday March 17 @ 7 pm.  We hope many parents will come out and view the presentation, we are presenting not only some of the lessons and issues around technology, but as well, all the positive learning that can occur as well.  Stay tuned for the details of how the night goes!

Hello fellow staff members, this is a experiment in the making, I would like each of you to have the opportunity of utilizing technology in a positive, constructive and meaningful educational manner.  I really believe that if we all take a little time to learn how to incorporate technology into our teaching lives in a respectful, responsible and meaningful manner that technology will become viewed as a more positive learning medium, by staff and students.  Please take the time to read the weblog each week, and post a comment or writing on something of educational interest.  But, please remember this is a educational blogsite, designed to spark comments and educational dialouge and we must be very cognizant that student and staff names should not be used and the dialouge remains respectful and professional.  Until next time, that’s it!
